The Kindred Public Library enhances community life in Kindred and the surrounding area by promoting literacy and providing materials for enjoyment, education, and research.

Are you interested in connecting to the internet? Participating in a book discussion? Taking a class? The Library has these opportunities available, as well as an environment where individuals can meet, study, and/or volunteer.

Library membership is available without charge. Financial support for operations and programming is achieved through fund-raising events, mil levy and grants, as well as donations and memorials.
