	The Kindred Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees. The five-person board consists of four city residents and one city council member. They are elected to a rotating three-year term.

		Friends of the Kindred Public Library: This enthusiastic group of volunteers sustains the library, working with the funding and operations of the library in an effort to enhance community life and to stimulate cultural and economic growth.
